Serving the construction industry for more than 39 years, Southern Inspection has developed a reputation for providing expertise, integrity, and pinpoint accuracy delivered by the most professional and highly trained inspection technicians in the industry. Our operations are based out of our main office in Harvey, Louisiana, but our reach extends to meet the needs of a continuously growing customer base across the country.

We provide metallurgical testing, non-destructive testing, ground-penetrating radar (GPR) for concrete testing and coring, and geological surveys, as well as welding procedures and services for construction projects of any scope and size. History

Southern Inspection is a family-owned small business serving the inspection needs of the construction industry for more than 31 years.

Founder and President Rennis Branson launched the business in 1984 and has more than 50 years of experience in the inspection industry. Together with his wife Rhonda Branson, the couple manages a highly-trained inspection service staff ready to meet your construction project goals. Past and present clients include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Boh Bros. Construction Co., Marriott International, the National World War II Museum and Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, Shell Offshore, Chevron USA & DOW Chemical.
